Sheri Blattel

Director, Retail Cushing Terrell

Sheri leads teams that design for the user experience while embodying the culture, values, and unique aesthetic of each client. She believes getting to know clients, not only their ultimate design goals, but who they are at their core, provides the opportunity to realize this character in the physical space and create dynamic retail environments. Among her greatest strengths is building and maintaining strong relationships with clients through the design process — clients who themselves have strong relationships with their communities. She prioritizes going beyond the traditional partnership and bring a holistic view that considers context, sustainability, resilience, health, safety, and happiness, as well as the long-term viability of well-loved brands in their physical space and communities. Sheri is passionate about the strategic alignment of services and solutions to deliver complex projects, being part of the evolution of design, and helping to advance equity, diversity, and inclusion within Cushing Terrell and the larger AEC industry. To stay connected with the great thinkers and leaders in our industry, she is a member of the Urban Land Institute, the International Council of Shopping Centers, the Retail Design Institute, and Shop! Association.
