VP, Retail Operations Fleet Feet

Matt Werder is the Vice President of Retail Operations at Fleet Feet, where he leads the store operations, retail experience and education, and field marketing teams. Matt began his Fleet Feet career in 2005, first working in a franchise store location in Syracuse, NY before joining the corporate team in 2016. Prior to his current position, Matt has held multiple roles in retail operations and retail experience.

The first Fleet Feet store opened its doors in 1976 in Sacramento, CA, and they’ve been outfitting runners with the right gear and knowledge ever since. Since that first day, Fleet Feet has expanded to 250 doors (and counting) in communities across the country to work toward the vision of inspiring the runner in everyone. Today, Fleet Feet combines the knowledge gained from four decades of experience with data-driven insights from modern technology to outfit runners with the ideal shoes, apparel, and gear.
