VP, Store Design, Construction and Facilities Framebridge

Jeff Matthews is the Vice President of Store Design, Construction and Facilities for Framebridge. He has extensive experience in retail design and construction as well as successfully building internal and external teams for rapid rollout development. While at Framebridge, Jeff has worked to develop and implement a new brand for custom framing where “you can frame just about anything”. After building 2 stores in the DC area Framebridge decided it was time to bring in Jeff’s experience to expand the retail storefronts. During a pandemic he has now expanded the store count to 20 while also preparing Framebridge for a rapid rollout development in the coming years.

Jeff also worked at Pandora Jewelry for more than 10 years where he developed a retail store design and construction program to support rapid Franchise and Owned and Operated store growth for the Americas Region. While at Pandora, Jeff’s fourth international retailer, he successfully scaled the rollout of 2 different designs to accomplish opening over 600 new stores, more than 400 remodels and more than 1500 Shop in Shops in more than 20 countries. Jeff has had a realistic and practical approach while building the foundation of retail design and construction departments. His focus on the fundamentals of retail and common-sense approach has contributed to his success while penetrating retail brands into new Markets across the Americas.

Jeff’s focus on practical efficiencies for brand consistencies has led to success with Franchise Partners as well. Creating guidelines, vendor networks and cost efficiencies across the Region has helped insure that brands are scaled consistently and effectively. Jeff prides himself on building teams and relationships and credits his success to the people that have supported him during his career. Scaling a brand is especially difficult but building positive relationships with all partners has been a large contribution to Jeff’s success in developing his programs

Prior to starting retail work 19 years ago, Jeff was a teacher in architecture and engineering. He credits his success in managing and developing his team to his experience in the classroom. Jeff lives North Carolina with his wife of 15 years, two girls, one boy and their dog Denver. He and his family enjoy spending time at the beach as much as possible. While at home they enjoy boating on Lake Norman.
