Head of Retail Operations Tuft & Needle

As Head of Retail Operations for Phoenix-based mattress company, Tuft & Needle, Anna wears a lot of hats. If you asked her what her favorite thing about her role at the industry-disrupting-company is, she’d tell you it’s the people. She spends a lot of her time interacting with her store teams across the country, figuring out ways that Tuft & Needle can continue to wake up the retail industry and change the way people shop for mattresses. 

Anna grew up in Southern Mississippi along the Gulf Coast. It was there, in her early teens that she discovered her love for retail and passion for people and relationships. She credits her Southern roots for her hospitable nature and many years in ‘the trenches’ of corporate retail for her passion to make Tuft & Needle’s stores not only the best places to buy a mattress, but the best places to work, too. Over the past 15 years, she’s grown from starting her first part time retail job at a Pacific Sunwear in Biloxi, MS to leading Tuft & Needle’s rapidly growing retail presence down the path of changing the way consumers view mattress stores. 

When Anna isn’t leading her team, you can almost always find her at home with her two children, Jack & June, her husband Kyle, and their fur baby Zoey. You also stand a good chance of finding her at her neighborhood Target.
