Social vs Mobile

In January of 2014, Worldwide Business Research, (creators of Future Stores, eTail, B2B East, and more), released the 2014 Customer Experience Benchmark Study. As part of the benchmark team, I helped collect questions from customer experience professionals. I also helped to conduct the cross-industry, nationwide survey that provided the data for this study.

As the survey results rolled in, I was particularly interested to see how companies are utilizing social media and mobile technologies to better connect with customers and provide a great experience. I was also interested to see which obstacles are proving most challenging for customer experience professionals trying to get buy-in for new initiatives.

The infographic below will give you an idea of how the results panned out.
